Senior Infrastructure Analyst
Some projects I am working on..
Managing diverse infrastructure elements across a geographically expansive organization, my experience extends to VMWare virtualization, Dell PowerScale (Isilon) storage, data centre maintenance, cloud operations (Azure) and on-premises solutions from prominent providers such as Microsoft, Dell, and HP.
Focusing on delivering and maintaining the specific systems needed to aid teaching and research across our various campus and research sites. My role included bridging the gap between academic requirements and technical delivery, ensuring incidents and problems were dealt with effectively.
Worked across the Science, Agriculture, and Engineering Faculty to support staff and students in Marine Engineering and Science. This involved managing several key sites, including the Blyth Cavitation Tunnel and the Dove Laboratory in Tynemouth. Managing such a large area helped me build strong technical and organisational skills while maintaining important relationships across the department.
